Mechanical Engineering
Services
Get design consultation on your machine design from experienced
professionals. Our engineering team boasts an average of 15 years
experience with each member bringing unique skills and capabilities,
some adding years of experience and others adding fresh new ideas.
Mechanical engineering design services include the design of automated
machinery, materials and design consultation, and finite element
analysis (FEA).
Our staff consists of experienced Mechanical and Electronic engineers
along with highly qualified technical support personnel. The staff
have been honored with a total of 16 patents to-date and have
3 additional patents pending. Our experience has an emphasis on
product design-development and machine design.

3D Engineering
Services
Increase the effectiveness of sales literature or web-based catalogs
with presentation renderings from 3D solid models. PAI uses 3D
solid modeling for all design work and can provide 3D capabilities
as a service to your company. Models are available in a number
of common 3D solid modeling platforms including ProEngineer, Solid
Works, Iron CAD, and Inventor.
3D Solid modeling at PAI is performed using either SolidWorks or IronCAD.
In addition to our Solid Modeling capabilities, we also offer
Rapid Prototyping. This complimentary capability allows product
design to proceed to the prototyping stage without delay and at
the most cost-effective price. A good selection of materials and
colors is available with the newer Rapid Prototyping machines,
which is a valuable feature to consider.

2D to 3D CAD Conversion
Services
Upgrade your CAD system to 3D solid modeling with our 2D to 3D
conversion services. 2D to 3D conversion services assist you in
converting older drawings into 3D solid models. Models are available
in a number of common native and generic file formats. Manual
drawings or electronic drawings in AutoCAD format can be converted
to SolidWorks, ProE, or IronCAD solid models. sSimilarly, solid
models can be converted for use by different CAD system software.
PAI also offers conversion of traditional 2D drawings to 3D Solid
Models in a number of native and conversion file choices. We can
produce 3 dimensional renderings of your product for use in evaluating
appearance, form, fit or function. These renderings can also be
used as illustrations in manuals and sales literature.
File output types include: native AutoCAD 2000, IronCAD 4.0,
SolidWorks 2001 and ProEngineer file types; along with STEP or
IGES files; or generic ACIS or Parasolids files.

Analysis (FEA)

Finite Element Analysis, FEA, has traditionally been performed
on high-end CAD packages using fairly complex operational techniques.
Today, the latest software allows for FEA services to be available
at reasonable prices.
PAI can provide FEA services to you for your specific needs.
In doing so, we can also make recommendations as to design changes
that would enhance the product either through strength improvements
or in maintaining strength but designing for manufacturability.

Design For Manufacturability
Check for proper design considering manufacturability. This ensures
that the manufacture of products is possible and at it's least
effective cost.
Product design is difficult enough without having to consider
what manufacturing processes will be necessary to produce the
part. However, the concept of Design For Manufacturability (DFM),
will produce a product that is easier and, therefore, less expensive
to manufacture.
In today's marketplace, cost savings are critical to market success
and profitability.
