This
is a machine that tests security door locksets. These locksets are commonly used for secure
areas. The locksets are coded with a combination of button-pushes
using the five buttons on the front of the lockset.
The test machine
enters the combination, opens the lock, changes the combination
and repeats this sequence through a series of six tests. These tests
are performed on 100% of the locksets produced and are the final
tests prior to packaging and shipping.
This is an overall view of the front
of the machine. Note that this machine uses an industrial PC to
control the machine and log all test data in a database. This data
is later analyzed for trends and QC purposes. |
