This machine was designed and built to assemble locks used for safe-deposit boxes. The machine has three sets of tooling so as to assemble three different, but similar assemblies. It is a semi-automatic machine in that the operator manually loads a die cast "bolt" and removes the completed assembly.

This full view of the machine shows the general arrangement, including the joystick controls for the operator. This joystick control arrangement serves several purposes, including safety and multifunction control of the machine.

This view of the machine shows the dual-head automatic screwdriver. This screwdriver system was designed to accomodate two different center-to-center distances between the screws. This was required since of the three assemblies produced on this machine has a wider center-to-center distance for the screws than the other two assemblies.
